Privacy Policy
Straight talk about what information we handle, why, and how we treat it. No dense legalese — just what you actually need to know. Last updated 28 July 2026.
Who we are
Betting ID Hub ("we", "us") is an independent, generic betting-ID provider operating at bettingidhub.com. This policy explains how we treat the information you choose to share with us, mainly when you contact us on WhatsApp.
What information we handle
- What you send us on WhatsApp. When you message us, we see your WhatsApp display name, phone number and the content of your messages. You control what you choose to share.
- Basic website data. Like most websites, our host may record standard technical information such as general location and browser type for security and performance. We do not run Google Analytics on this site.
What we do not ask for
We will never ask you for your bank's internet-banking password, a one-time code (OTP) sent by your bank, or your UPI PIN. No legitimate part of our service needs these. If anyone requests them while claiming to be us, treat it as a scam and stop.
Why we handle your information
Purely to help you. We use the details you share to answer your questions, guide you through setting up or accessing a betting ID, and provide support. We do not sell your information, and we do not send it to third-party betting brands as some sort of lead — we are an independent provider, not an ad broker.
How long we keep it
We keep chat conversations only as long as needed to help you and to keep a reasonable record of our support. If you would like us to delete your conversation, just ask us on WhatsApp and we will do so where we are able.
Cookies
This is a simple, static website. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store basic technical items needed for the page to display correctly, but nothing that profiles you across the web.
Your choices
- You decide what to share — you can ask questions without giving personal details.
- You can ask us to delete your chat history with us at any time.
- You can stop messaging us whenever you like, with no consequences.
Age restriction
Our service is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly handle information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not contact us.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to exercise any of your choices, reach us through the contact page. You can also read more about our approach on the about page and our responsible gaming page.
Collecting less, on purpose
The safest way to protect information is not to hold it. Every field a service asks for is something that has to be stored, secured, backed up and eventually deleted, and something that can be exposed if any of those go wrong. So our starting position is to ask for as little as the conversation genuinely needs, and to stop there even when more would be convenient for us.
In practice that means we do not run a registration form, do not build a customer profile, and do not ask for identity documents, since verification of that kind belongs to the platform you open an account with and not to us. Where a piece of information is needed only once, we do not keep it afterwards. If you are ever asked for something on this site that seems unnecessary, push back, because the request is either a mistake or not coming from us.
Who else processes anything on our behalf
Three categories, and no others. The messaging platform itself carries the conversation and operates under its own privacy terms, which are worth reading, because we cannot control what a messaging provider retains. Our website host stores standard server logs, which include an address and a timestamp for each request, as every web server does. Where a betting platform needs a detail to set up your account, that detail goes to them and is then governed by their policy rather than ours.
We do not sell information, do not share numbers with marketing lists, and do not pass anything to anyone who has not been named above. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Security in plain terms
Perfect security does not exist and any site claiming it is overstating. What we can describe is what we actually do: keep the amount of stored information small, restrict access to the people who run the desk, avoid holding anything financial at any point, and never ask for a credential that would let anyone act as you. Because we hold no payment details, no OTPs and no passwords, the most damaging categories of data simply are not present to be lost.
Your side matters as much as ours. Lock your phone, keep message previews off the lock screen if the handset is shared, and never forward account credentials to anyone in a chat, including someone using our name.
Exercising your rights, step by step
- Message the desk on the number published on this site and say what you want: a copy of what we hold, deletion, or a correction.
- Tell us roughly when you first contacted us, so the right conversation can be found.
- Expect a reply confirming what we actually hold, which is usually less than people assume.
- For deletion, we remove what we hold and tell you what we could not remove and why, such as a message thread that also sits on your own device.
- If you are unhappy with the outcome, say so and it is reviewed by someone else.
Rights over data held by a betting platform have to be exercised with that platform directly, because we cannot act on their systems. We can tell you where to send the request.
Privacy questions
Exactly what personal data does Betting ID Hub hold about me?
Your messaging number and whatever you chose to tell us in the conversation, which for most people is which sport they follow and what they wanted set up. There is no account with us, no stored password, no payment details and no identity documents. Our website host also keeps ordinary server logs of requests, as every website does.
Why do you refuse to collect documents that other services routinely ask for?
Because holding identity documents creates a risk we have no need to take. Verification of identity belongs to the platform where your account and your money sit, and it has processes built for it. Anything we collected would sit in a second place, protecting nothing extra while creating another target. Less collected is genuinely safer than well protected.
How long are chats and records kept?
Only as long as they are useful for supporting you, after which they are cleared. A conversation that ended years ago serves no purpose and gets removed. A copy of any chat also sits on your own device under your control, and deleting our side does not remove yours. Server logs held by the website host follow that host's standard retention rather than ours.
Which third parties can see any of my information?
Three, all named on this page. The messaging platform carrying the conversation, operating under its own terms. Our website host, which keeps standard server logs. And a betting platform, only where a detail is needed to open your account, after which their policy governs it. Nobody else. We do not sell data or share numbers with marketing lists.
Does this website set cookies or run analytics?
The site is built as plain static pages and does not require you to accept anything to read it. Any measurement we use is limited to aggregate page traffic and does not identify individual readers. The live cricket scoreboard is loaded from an external provider, which means that provider sees the request in the same way any embedded content would.
What does WhatsApp encryption protect, and what does it not?
It protects the message while it travels between the two devices, so somebody intercepting it in transit sees nothing useful. It does not protect anything on either device. Anyone who can open your phone can read the whole thread, and screenshots you send exist wherever they are saved. Encryption solves the wire, not the handset.
What is the process for having my records removed?
Message the desk and say you want everything deleted. We remove what we hold, confirm it, and tell you what we could not remove and why, which is usually the copy of the thread sitting on your own device. Deletion with us has no effect on any betting platform account, since that is separate and has to be handled with them.
How do I get a copy of what you hold?
Ask in the chat and mention roughly when you first contacted us, so the right conversation can be located. We reply with what actually exists rather than a form, and most people are surprised how short the answer is. If any of it is wrong, tell us and we will correct it. There is no charge and no identity form to complete.
How do you keep under-18s off the service?
We confirm age at the start of every setup conversation and refuse outright where there is any doubt, and we will not proceed on a reassurance that does not sound genuine. The platform itself applies its own checks at account level. This is one of the few places where we would rather lose an enquiry than be talked round, and it is not negotiable.
How will I be told if this privacy policy changes?
The page is updated and the change is dated on the page itself rather than announced by message, since we do not send unsolicited messages. If a change materially affects what we collect or who sees it, it will be stated near the top rather than buried in a paragraph. Anything you disagree with is a reason to tell us and to stop using the desk.
